Time for more News!

We are excited to announce that 2 more little people will be joining our family in early April.  We are thrilled and completely intimidated.  As Brian put it "we now know why we should be scared " :)  We feel so blessed to have our family growing and are grateful for the love and support of family and friends!  The ultra sound tech labeled this picture "bunk beds".  I'm sure there's a set in our future :)

Claire loves corn on the cob!

The other night at dinner Claire tried her first corn on the cob.  She absolutely loved it!  It's now one of our favorite things...watching her polish off her veggies :)

Another Door County Adventure

We had another great trip up to Door County this past weekend. Claire had a blast at a local farm and we loved watching her play. We are so grateful for friends who let us stay there. It has been a real blessing for us during our time here in Wisconsin!

Once again...can't figure out why these load funny. We think it may be an issue with our camera. Please let me know if you have a suggestion!

We found a cute little frog while playing outside. I tried to teach Claire to be very gentle with it :) She was excited enough that she could have easily crushed it :)

Claire loves slides....especially big ones!

They had a cool milking game inside. Claire was a pro. Maybe we'll have to get a cow someday :)

At the entry to a very cool corn maze. We did some of it together, and then Brian went back during Claire's nap to conquer the whole thing! Good job Honey!

Peek-a-boo in the corn.

I love this picture of Claire being licked by a pony...sheer joy!

I don't love sand. But, we were on vacation, and I could hardly say "no" :)

Daddy and Claire getting ready to float in the Lake.

The last picture taken before our camera died and before they capsized! We gave Claire (and Dad) a warm bath to help them recover :)

Wisconsin State Fair 2011!

We had a blast at the Wisconsin State Fair this year! Claire really "got it", and loved the food and the animals. We had a great time watching her discover and play. She loves dogs. We have to help her pet them softly :)
No idea why I can't get these pictures to load correctly. Use your imagination!

Watching more dogs.

With Dad and the cows :)

Really thirsty after all that greasy Fair food :)

A corn play box. So much better than sand! I told Brian we might need to have one someday :)

Water all down her front...

She loved the pig slide. Brian took her to the top and she rode it all by herself!

She often surprises us with her daring :)

Quintessential Wisconsin food...deep fried cheese curds. So bad for you, but oh so yummy!

A series of expressions...not exactly sure what she was trying to communicate :)

Enjoying a very yummy fruit smoothie!

Claire LOVED it!

She also loved these chickens.

We love this expression...it cracks us up!

Julie and Claire go to Utah

Claire and I went to Utah for Brian's family reunions in July. We were so sad he couldn't come with us, but we had a great time playing with family. With cousin Rachel. We're hoping these 2 become best friends someday.
At BYU.

With Gramps and Grandma Gailey at KFC.

Claire at the pool. I really love this shot of her!

She actually liked playing with the cotton candy more than eating it. Texture over taste? She must be a Brinkerhoff :)

With one of my dearest friends, Athelia, who was also in Utah that same weekend! We're enjoying some delicious Cafe Rio...a tradition we both miss now that we don't live in Utah.

Sporting our reunion shirts.

"Are you sure this is my color Mom"?

Playing doubles badminton with Brian's sister Julie. We had a great time and did not too bad either!

With Karen and Whitney after the ropes course. Possibly the hardest thing I've done except for labor!

I knew it was going to hurt...but I gave into the peer (family) pressure :)

I got to shoot a gun. I was terrible. Good thing I'm a better shopper than hunter :)

Claire's ready for chow!

Another activity I was pressured into...paintball. I hid like a coward the whole time :) But, I came out un-injured :)

Claire loved the turtles.

With Grandma and Grandpa Brinkerhoff.

Claire loves to ride!
