Canadian Christmas

After Brian took his surgery step exam on Thursday morning (December 23rd), we flew out that afternoon for the Great White North. Our plane arrive so late that we stayed in a hotel in Calgary for the night before driving down to Cardston. It was nice to get a few hours of sleep and to let Claire swim a bit before traveling some more. We arrived at my house in Canada just before noon on Christmas Eve!

Again, we should have taken more pictures! I guess we were having too much fun to stop and try to document it. We loved spending time with our ever-growing family. We shared great food, laughs, memories, and a nasty GI bug :) Thanks to Mom and Dad Low for all the work it takes to have all of us there. Claire's cousin Jaxson turned 1 year old while we were there. Joanie planned a killer party! So fun!
Claire and Jaxson. I CAN NOT believe that we didn't gather all the cousins together for an impromptu shot. We got official family pictures, so I guess I'll have to wait for them to post one of all the cousins. Sheesh!

Claire opening her dollar store necklaces (thanks for the hint Jana)!

Soft farm animal hand puppets...so fun.

Claire's curly hair after her morning swim.

Claire fell victim to the GI bug. Lots of barf and poop (of a very runny nature :) TMI...I know! She even looks sick here. This is the official "barf bucket" (printed in my mother's perfect handwriting). Despite the fact that she felt sick AND that she cut 3 teeth while we were there, she was a pretty happy little girl.

Julie, you look beautiful in all these pictures! I love the picture of Claire with her curly hair and blue, blue eyes. I love blue eyes - I hope we get some in our family someday! Glad it was a great Christmas, and can't wait to see more pictures!
