As it turned out, Brian had most of the day off on Thursday...so we made the most of it. First off we headed downtown for lunch at the Milwaukee Public Market. The absolute best part of lunch was the barbecue chicken chili soup...yum, yum. Then we headed south along the lake to Grant Park. We hiked the 7 Bridge Trail, which sounds long and perilous but amounted to a brief jaunt through the forest. Fall is in full swing and we love it!
