Wisconsin State Fair...the sequel.
We went to the Wisconsin State Fair for the second time since moving here. We thought it was even better this time around (as we had a bit of an idea of what we wanted to see and do). We thoroughly enjoyed people-watching, seeing all sorts of animals, and sampling deep fried veggies and cheese curds.

Claire doesn't quite "get" what animals are yet. We tried to catch her interest with them, but she was just as happy grinning at anyone who would give her any attention. She got a lot of compliments :)
World's largest piggy bank. A bit strange, but the kids can actually slide down through it. They come out just under the tail...hmmm :)

We had to pause for a nap in one of the only air-conditioned buildings part way through. Claire was a champ to put up with it all :)
Flavored milk...one of the things the fair is known for. I personally don't like drinking milk, so this kind of grosses me out. Brian on the other hand loves it. This was cherry-vanilla, which he really liked. He convinced me to take a sip, telling me to think of it as a milk shake, rather than milk. It wasn't as bad as I remembered it...but I still didn't have more than the one sip :)

What fun. I don't think anyone could talk me into drinking even a sip of milk. You're a champ.
