Our First Visitors!

We had a really fun weekend with Richard and Leslie -- our very first family members to visit us! Richard came out for an interview at MCW and I'm sure he wowed the admissions committee. We had a fun time showing them the sites which included downtown Milwaukee, the Jelly Belly factory, and deep dish pizza in Chicago. For the finale we had a snow storm come through right before they left -- typical Midwest weather.

When were you down in Chicago? Josh and I actually went up there this past weekend to go to the temple and might have just missed you. Maybe we could plan a get together sometime when Josh has some time off and Brian's school isn't too busy (is that every going to happen?). :) Hope you're doing well and remember you're always welcome to come down to Muncie to visit us if you'd like! :)

Looks like fun. That'd be great if they go to the same school as you!

Julie, I just found out that Barb has a blog ( somehow I miss being in the loop) and I was reading your blog. I t seems funny, how many couples meet at BYU and lots of them are LDS- I wonder why, maybe I'll ask at church tommorrow? Remember I'm not serious more than I'm serious. Nick's little boy due anytime, hopefully after Wednesday- I have an E.R.C.P.- Wheee. I have a blog at-Halseys World if you ever get bored. With Love, Bud and Max

I am so glad you guys have some updates! It's great to see what Milwaukee life is like for you guys. We miss you, but hope everything is going well. Brian, you are almost done with your 1st year of medical school right? That is got to be a huge relief for both of you. We think of you often and get sad whenever we go by your old place but good luck with all that you're doing. You're in our prayers!

We were just in Chicago, too! Looks like we ate at the same pizza place... And if you are visiting your friends in Muncie (I just read the first comment), we're only about 45 minutes south of there!
